Director of Business Development
Enterprise Performance Management (EPM)

The Director of Business Development will be responsible for developing and executing the BCG strategic marketing plan. The DBD will report directly to the executive team and have direct responsibility for Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) revenue development.

The DBD will manage ongoing marketing activities and budgets and be responsible for the development of product channels, programs and activities to support BCG sales goals. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Achievement of strategic marketing, new customer and sales revenue goals.
  • Managing and participating in trade conventions, meetings and shows supporting customer development and corporate activities.
  • Management of vendor partnerships and relationships
  • List and pipeline development and lead management.
  • Prospect development through telephonic and written communications.
  • Development of marketing pieces, communications, offers and programs.
  • Development and delivery of RFI's, RFP's, sales presentations and proposals.
  • Work with technical staff to develop custom product demonstrations.
  • Assist in development and management of educational content, presentations and programs.
  • Management of on-line marketing and lead generation.
  • Development and management of Internet content and communication including website and blog.

Requirements
The candidate for DBD must have prior sales and/or marketing experience preferably with Oracle products or services. The DBD must have an aptitude for technical products and services and have a general understanding of accounting and finance.

The role is largely self-directed and requires excellent organizational skills and an ability to "move the needle". The candidate should possess the following skills and abilities:

  • Sales experience - preferably dealing with big ticket software sales, and with Oracle products or services.
  • Highly organized, motivated and self-directed.
  • Ability to work as part of an account development team.
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent.
  • Skilled with MS Office applications include MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Ability to communicate with C-Level executives in various industries and professions.
  • Excellent critical thinking and reasoning skills.
  • Ability to travel for national conventions, conferences, meetings and client calls.
  • Excellent record of sales achievement and progressive advancement and/or recognition

We are a rapidly growing consulting firm specializing in Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) applications. We are currently seeking a Senior HFM Consultant to join the leadership team.

The Senior HFM Consultant is responsible for leading financial management projects from requirements gathering through design and production. In this client facing role the Consultant will work with client end-users and management to develop project goals, designs and timelines.

The role will work with an internal team to deliver project requirements according to best practices and methodologies. The ideal candidate will have three or more years working with HFM and have experience leading complex projects from discovery through user acceptance.

  • Experience with Hyperion EPM products
